Game To Play While Traveling In the CAR My grandson and I travel to North Carolina to visit my oldest son, at least twice a year. We play the “alphabet” game with the names of animals, so when I find an unusual animal, I try to add it to our list, so that we don’t repeat the commonly-known ones, like cat, dog, horse, etc. Here are a few that I found recently and added them to our list. How many of these have you heard about? Desman Okapi Oryx Tarsier Cuscus Pika Caecilian Kinkajou Coati Axolotl Matamata Anole Basilisk Tegu Ajolote Margay Olingo By the way, we also do research on each of the animals, so that we know what they look like and where they live. It’s very educational and adds to our fun when we play the game. We have been doing this for about TEN years now. I’m going to put up some information about some of these animals for you in a future post.
