Every 10 seconds a child is trafficked in this very nation and abroad. Approximately 3,287 people are sold, kidnapped and forced into slavery on a daily basis. And, remember, this is just the reported numbers. This is happening all around us on a daily basis. One of the most serious human rights violations is the exploitation of children and woman as sex slaves. The sex trades generates about 32 Billion annually. A human being can be sold into slavery for less than $100. The perpetrators of this move women into neighborhoods and set them up in a normal apartment. They could live next door. They are kept isolated and made to do whatever they are told or they are beaten. Some are given drugs so they are totally dependant on the trafficker. About 55% of girls living on the streets of America are living in sexual slavery.
