Here is the line-up of celebrities and their dancing partners for the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.
Kim Fields (actress from Facts of Life and current on Real Housewives of Atlanta) dancing with Sasha Farber.
Jodie Sweetin (actress from Full House and Fuller House) with Keo Motsepe.
Antonia Brown (Pittsburgh Steeler footballer) with Sharna Burgess.
Paige VanZant (UFC fighter) and Mark Ballas.
Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men) with newly married (I believe) Lindsay Morris.
Marla Maples (actress and 2nd wife of Donald Trump) with Tony Dovolani.
Doug Flutie (football legend) with Karina Smirnoff.
Mischa Barton (actress from The O.C.) with Artem Chigvintsev
Von Miller (football champ) with newly married Whitney Carson.
Geraldo Rivera (former talk show host/reporter) with Edyta Sliwinska.
Nyle DiMarco (America's Next Top Model who is also deaf) dancing with Peta Murgatroyd.
Ginger Zee (from GMA, 3 months after giving birth) with Val Chmerkoskviy.
Hosts Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron were not in attendance. Erin having just finished a gruelling court case and Tom, whose father passed away four months ago, has now lost his mother very recently.
Placing my bets early, I would have to go with Jodie Sweetin. She has some dance experience as a child and I think she's pretty good. Marla Maples may have a chance but I haven't seen her dance. Geraldo Rivera looks awkward... the token old guy.
I have started every season thinking "Who are these people and can any of them really dance?" This season is no different. Three footballers? Really?
So, are any of you going to be watching?

Yes, Bindi won and she so deserved it. The whole season was very emotional where Bindi was concerned. The specialty shows (important moments in their lives, movie dances, etc.) are so awesome. It really is not a show to be missed. Hopefully this season will be as good as last season.

I never watch that show but would root for Mischa Barton since I like her.

But they got the best football players in the game. Not ex NFL quarterback Doug Flutie, he's nice, but not as big (although his hail Mary play I have been repeatedly reminded of on top ten sports lists). Antonio Brown was the best wide receiver in the NFL this season with the Steelers. Von Miller was the Super Bowl MVP for the Broncos this year. If you wanted to increase the male audience, and just a younger audience in general, they picked the right guys.
And Marla Maples! With Donald Trump in the spotlight people will be very curious about her. I love Jodie Sweetin, and after she's wanted to be on the show for so long I'm glad she is. I hope Full House fans come out swinging!
I didn't watch last season (and I usually do), but I will this season!
I remember when Mischa Barton was a big deal. I never watched The O.C., but I remember her as the girl ghost in The Sixth Sense. I hope she's gotten her life together.

I know the name Doug Flutie. Did he play in the CFL (Toronto) for a time? I'm not a football fan at all. Cheering for Jodie. But sometimes it's not the star but their professional dancer that makes a difference. They have fans too.
