I went to an exhibition about computing and big data, most interesting. But the most fascinating exhibit was a projection that show money moving through the international markets. You look up into a dome and it appears like a clear night sky. In the left half of the image the nova, those brighter flares, are deals of $10 million with the snake like lines being undercurrents of money flows. The right half is a few seconds after the New York Stock Exchange opens. The explosion of supernova shows deals of multi -millions and billions of dollars. They flare into brightness, then begin to fade, to be replaced by another two or three blossoming deals. A powerful visual of the might of one money exchange; really incredible!

If you know the opening times of the various markets you can tell who's got all the money!
