Whoa! In the past few days I have had several people knocking on our door at 2Pm, 4Pm and even 7Pm trying to tell us who to vote for. I am really unsure why I answer the door any more. I get kind of aggravated. I know its their job, but people are so pushy and dont stand to reason. Agh! Do you share my frustration?

I can relate to this. All this campaigning and coming to home to for promotion. Yes it could be frustrating specially during exams or while doing some important work. What I used to was not open the door at all, they may ring the bell for few times and go away.

Yes! Incredibly distracting. Do you have them where you are at?

@maezee Absolutely, political election campaigning is everywhere. In my childhood , I remember they used to come with loudspeakers in the colony and would keep making noises for hours and playing music.

Stick a sign on your door..."My big dog is hungry, if you're here for political reasons my dog may eat you for its dinner"...that should discourage them

It's politics. They have to promote those candidates. We also get the phone calls.

they can't do it here because there's just too many people to visit. but i think my mom knows were she stands. my advice is probably threat them they won't vote for their candidate if they keep bugging you.

That doesn't happen in California because it is a given the Democrats win. It is a waste of time for Republicans to vote here.

Ha good to know. Minnesota is kind of up in the air. I lean left but Im even annoyed with these campaigners who are democrats.
