Has your computer ever restarted on it's own while you were doing something on it?

I had my computer automatically freeze up, restart then do Windows updates and this kind of made me uptight. I wanted to play a song and surf the web but the computer had other plans. It's like Windows 10 is starting to think for itself and doesn't really care if you are engaged in other activities with it so when it's ready to update or do a restart it seems to do so without your expectation, out of the blue.

@LeaPea2417 , When and if you upgrade to 10 you might be surprised by how it works.

@MGjhaud Just so my computer doesn't instruct me to log off because it has things to do that require immediate attention and that what I am doing can be put on hold. lol.

It's done the update thing to me so I just stopped scheduled updates and changed it to notify me when updates are available and I choose when to download them...it's quite simple.
I did use 10 on another laptop and also on this netbook but reverted back to 7 on this as the monitor resolution gave me problems.

You know, it just happens Windows 7 was a very good operating system and I kind of miss some of the apps that came with it, in particular, Windows Live DVD Maker and Windows Media Center to watch and record broadcast channels in my area and putting my favorite foot ball games on disc. I hate that they got rid of Media Center I hope that one day they give it back.
