it may work but the real test of a relationship is living with a person for 2 years minimum in my opinion. I've never had a relationship that has survived past the 2 year mark so that's what I judge it on...and I mean 2 years living together.

That's just my opinion and I'm rubbish at my own relationships but often have given pretty decent advice to others in a relationship.

But one thing you need to know is that distance relationship also help to know how committed your partner is, but I don't agree with the woman living with me for 2years coz It can get frustrating

that it may not be going to happen in my life again haha.. i was in an LDR before, it was hard cause we hardly talk even if we wanted to everyday. first is because of the timezones and second is the demand from work. just not working for me.

@piyabaidya,I don't think it does.In order to love someone, you need to know them properly.

@piyabaidya Yes,but to know them well you needn't marry them.Just a friendship is enough to tell you a lot about them. All you need is keep your eyes and mind open.Am I wrong?

In practical terms - "out of sight is out of mind", but couples and families do stay apart in times of need though better not as a routine - siva

It would take 10 times more effort and trust to make it work than a non distance one, but it can work.

Can it work? Yes, it can. Does it work? Usually, no. But then again, that’s true for the vast majority of relationships. And it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ever at least try.
