All those pretty exercise videos and slideshows didn't prepare me for exercising with a cat. She really wants to be an integral part of my workout routine, often getting in my way at critical moments. I call it 'agility training.' I'll give a couple examples of exercises with cats. Bridge: Lie down on your back by putting your arms by your sides. Now bend your knees and raise your hips while maintain your back straight and keeping your feet on the floor. Let the hips be in a straight line with your shoulders and knees. Hold it there for 30 seconds or until cat walks under your back. Gently lower your hips back to the initial position. Or how about this: Kettlebell dealift Stand with feet shoulder width apart, Toes slightly turned out Bell placed between your feet or slightly behind ankles Inhale through your nose Reach around the cat for the bell Keep a neutral spine with eyes on the horizon Press through floor and stand up Watch for cat before setting bell down again...

Dog Yoga. Sounds almost like Hot Yoga. Maybe you could write a book too!

Why, she's just making sure you're doing it right @Rohvannyn . Now if she starts doing a meow count, you're in trouble.

lol!!! I've had my fair share of exercising with cats. I remember clearly one day, I was exercising on the floor. I got on my knees and bent over and suddenly my cat jumped on my back, laid down and wanted to go to sleep! lol They are so silly!

This sounds interesting. Though I don't think my cats would be up for it. When I do yoga, they like to lay down on my mat with me.
