I am thinking it's what I DIDN'T eat

I've heard that what you eat before bed can cause you to have some very weird dreams. I've also heard that you do not dream until about 30 seconds before you wake up. The dream may seem hours long but in reality it was only a 30 second compressed image .
Anyway, in my crazy dreams of last night (or er today for everyone else), I was eating or giving food to others. In one scene I was at the hospital with my sister and she was hungry so I pulled (out of my pocketbook) a big bag with angel food cake and some other kind of sweet. She was so happy to see the food.
Then later on I was in a bad neighborhood buying a gun (I really have no idea why) and the person in front of me buying the gun threatened me so I though "I'll feed you." and we went to this soup kitchen type diner.
Yes, I have no idea. The food there was macaroni and cheese, chicken wings, and cake. We ended up talking to the diner workers about country singers.
I woke up (as I usually do) hungry.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I've heard before it depends on what you have to eat before sleeping.

It depends on how you look at it. No mac and cheese but I decided to order chicken wings from a local place so there's that.

@kevin1877uk Yes but I've also heard that you only dream 30 seconds before you wake up. So I guess it really just depends.
I had a breakfast sandwich before bed though.

I find when I have food dreams it's because I'm hungry and I need to eat as soon as possible. This is usually accompanied by a headache because I need to eat.
Interesting dreams.

My body usually wakes me up because it's time to eat. I think I need to start eating smaller meals throughout the day. It's already confused because I eat at night mostly. I do have a headache as well.

@ScribbledAdNauseum When it's food related it goes away as soon as I eat.

Sounds like your dream was fueled by an empty stomach.

Yes, I often wake up hungry. I eat right before bed (I know, I know how bad it is!) and then do not eat again for atleast nine hours which is how long I sleep. I've had a lot of weird dreams because of this.
