Post-script (from my sister and my son)…a much-delayed diary!

Midnight of March 2, 2016… When my sister heard me call her to take my BP, I had my eyes closed. She got worried when I opened my eyes and my right eye was out of focus. The eyes should be bilaterally moving in one direction but my right eye was upward while my left eye was straight and forward. I recall my late mother; she had that stare with complaint of severe headache when we brought her to the hospital on June 12, 2009, a day before her eternal life in Heaven. Adrenaline rush! My son and the 3 neighbors who carried me claimed I was heavy at my weight of 48kgs. Yes, that is how light weight I am now. With God’s grace and mercy, and through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the spiritual prayer of my deceased parents, I am able to get back and get well again. “Parang nagdahilan lang” as claimed by the staff nurses; that is what they say during endorsements. Indeed, that is how I feel. I still need to be managed though, by my very intelligent neurologists and cardiologist. My sister, the worrier, is forever the anxious one. I am the warrior; I fight until my strength is exhausted; but shouldn’t we be all warriors in this ever- changing world? We all must be active soldiers in life. We must be humble and submit ourselves to the Almighty, but we must try our best to live and continue believing in Him.. This is the last of my diary, my friends. I will be submitting these discussions personally; I mean, I will submit them once I go home. I want to be active again because summer is coming so fast. Happy Sunday, all! (13th of March 2016)
