Been Busy Creating a Cover, A Book Cover That Is! / myLot

I haven't been around much today because I spent the bulk of the day working on a book cover for the paperback version of my most recent book. The book has been out as an e-book since last summer and I want the paperback out in time for summer beach reading here in the northern hemisphere. I started with the same photo I used for the e-book cover and tried to improve on that. I also had to create spine, a back cover, and get a bar code with price information built in from Bowker. It took three versions before I was happy with what I had, and I just uploaded that last version to CreateSpace. Now the next big job will be formatting the text of the book itself for print. I'm sort of saving that for Spring Break at the end of the month. I've included a peek at the new cover in the photo above. I'd love to know what you think of it.

I found her on FotoSearch. I was looking for a girl in long sleeves and long pants on the beach. She turned out to be just perfect to depict Sabine.

Thank you. I feel it will sell well. There are many of my readers who are waiting for a chance to buy a paperback copy, even though they've already read the e-book.
