Golden Women’s Weekend Blast

Yesterday , Sunday , March 13 , some of my former high school batch mates and I, met at a friend’s Café , as requested by Annie , the batch mate who came from the US .
The food started coming in at 2:30 p.m. , pastas , pizzas , bottomless iced tea and some cakes . I told them , I shouldn’t have taken my lunch if I had known that the food would be served 
that early.
Anyway , the café was requested just for the group , since it’s just a cozy café . Thus , we laughed at our heart’s content with our funny sharing of our stories , to catch up with one another .
The music ? 80’s and we couldn’t help dancing to Buttercup . 
Golden women though we maybe already , but still , we are always young at heart .
Just take a look at how we were pictured with gifts of Annie , which each of us has the liberty to choose .
I was so happy with the blue shawl to add to my collection .

my lady, you are the youngest of all the golden girls in that picture, I am so sure of that. you look so young, younger than them, my dear. nice you had a break from work and enjoyed the company of your classmates way back then.

Darling , don't be fooled by my look , i may be younger looking than them , but i am the oldest . One or two are only 55 while i am going 57 this December .
But they were asking me what do i put in my face because my freckles were gone and it's younger looking .

@ridingbet Yes, to that , but i don't have lots of sleep , only about 6 hours on weekdays though . I sleep late about 11 to 12 and wake up 5 a.m. So , i would usually be yawning at the office .

Actually , we are exclusive for girls in high school. Though , most of us are from same school in primary school , so they have boys as classmates . So, sometimes they do come also and those of us who are not their classmates in elementary , became very good friends also , when they were introduced to us .

For our batchmates , we have a coordinator . So, all the phone numbers of our batchmates who are in contact are with her . And if anyone from abroad comes home and wants a gathering , they just have to text her and she will do the texting to everyone who are within the city.

Just like my mom who is at her 60s but looks younger when other people sees her. In this retirement age of hers, she hangs out with her co retired teachers every single year, which is great.

That is how to go about when one is retired . One should always find time to hang out with friends .
