They finally arrived......

So back on February 4th, to be exact, I took a trip out to the Walmart Vision Center to order my new contacts. I had been saving up for them for awhile and was excited to finally get the new brand which were going to be so much better on my eyes then the ones I was wearing. Which I only had one pair left anyway. And each pair are good for about a month.
After ordering them and leaving I forgot to ask how long it would take for them to be shipped to my house. Well after two weeks of still not getting them I thought I would call. She said it should take about 5 to 7 days. Well, After a lot of confusion, I called back a few days later and they said they had to reorder them on the 22nd.
10 days later I still hadn't gotten them. So I went to the store this time to throw a fit. With a lot of apologies she ordered them again and said she would personal keep track of them to make sure I got them this time. This didn't make up for the fact that it had been over a month of waiting but what could I do at this point? I didn't want to ask for my money back or I would have had to go somewhere else and paid more.
But five days later and they are finally in my mail box and my eyes will thank me....

I get impatietnt waiting on anything. i have been waiting since January for flea collars for my dogs. They wee supposed to be here by the 8th of March, and now a week later, and they still aren't here. i ordered them through amazon so i am going to have to find out what happened to them as they were supposedly shipped back in January. I have never had this problem before and I am not very happy about it either. I am certainly goiing to contact the seller and find out what happend to them. I am glad you got your glasses after waiting awhile.

@T_gray It sure does. I might have to contact the seller and find out what happend to them. The last I checked they were on their way, but I couldn't track it like I had before. I don't know why either. I will contact the seller today sometime and see what they say.

I would be impatient too especially for the amount of money you pay for something that hasn't arrived. Glad you finally got them and hope they are what you wanted.

@kevin1877uk yup, I still put my glasses on at night sometimes. But I like my contacts so much better.

Glad they're finally here. I am surprised they didn't' compensate you with anything because you had to wait so long (when it wasn't your fault). Not like you were waiting to be compensated but at least a $10 gc for the apologies and inconvenience. Actually time wasted because you kept having to check on them!

@T_gray I know what you mean ~ I had the same incident when there was a bug in my food at Boudin. I asked the server is that normal or edible? She said yeah it's edible... then later she goes you want another salad. Well no I don't because now I won't eat it because you said it's edible. I just didn't go back for awhile and don't order salads.

oh, i'd been 'avin' a fit long 'go! so glad that'cha got 'em finally. wonder what they'd do if'n ya sent'em a bill fer the interest they made off the funds ya paid?
