A partial withdrawal from Syria by Russia? Sounds good.

Why not a complete withdrawal? Obama discussed the partial withdrawal. I wonder how partial this would indeed be? A lot is going on over there. Putin has his motivation and Obama has his and I am not too sure the twain shall meet exactly.

Yea, I wonder why they would be holding out in the first place? I wonder even more how President Obama managed this turn around?

@lookatdesktop I honestly think its to stir things up and keep him in office for a few more months by having the elections postponed

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Who is better suited to deal with this situation? There are problems with some of the candidates and this really worries me. We are in an election year and the front runners are totally opposed to one another. We are a nation divided.

Well, it's partial so that if the peace talks don't go so well, they can just jump right back in & continue where they left off! If they do go well & peace is restored, then someone's dream of "endless war" is going to be shattered. That can only be a good thing.
I guess you can look back & see what happened all the other times we did a total withdrawal. Just had to go right back in again years later, but in a very much deteriorated situation. Can you imagine what the servicemen felt like who had to go & do it all over again?

Unthinkable as far as I am concerned. I saw that movie soldiers always on recall. I think it was called Stop-Loss. If I am correct about this.
