Spring Is Finally Here

It has been what one can only describe as a very rough winter here in the United Kingdom. For months we have been battered by high winds and rain, which have caused lots of flooding and other problems, but at last things seem to be calming down and the brighter spring weather seems to have arrived. For me this is a massive plus as I cycle 100 miles a week to work and back, so I have been exposed to more than my fair share of bad weather these past few months, plus it is always nice to see the sun. Hopefully this is the start of a nice sunny spring and summer for us Brits, after the winter we have had I think we deserve it.

Well done you for continuing to cycle through the bad weather. I'm presuming you did. Yes, it will be much more pleasant once the days clear up a bit.

Good for you for bicycling that much. I am sure your body and pocketbook thanks you! Glad that the weather has been better. I feel guilty - we had a very mild winter and spring seems to have sprung here! Enjoy your day.

Spring is awesome @simplyd it's my favourite time of year, mind autumn and winter are mighty rough here in the UK.

Wow, you bike a lot of miles. That's great. Wish I loved close enough to do that. Glad to hear the sun is coming out. Hopefully, it's there to stay.
