Yes , as some of you have already met Bart in one of my previous posts, I am happy to tell you , he won in the dog show he attended last Saturday , March 13 , 2016. He was the 2nd runner up in the small breed category , got 2000 pesos or $42.55 , a sack of dog food and some tokens . My husband gave all the prizes to the caretaker who was the one who paraded Bart there . His costume is that of a pharaoh , as you can see in the picture . This is his second year of joining a dog show , even if he wasn’t taught any talent . So , has any of your pet ever joined a contest or just a parade of pets ?

uyy! Like the prince of Persia? Bart looks so regal and proud with his get-up, my lady, and he really is fit to win the top prize. why second runner-up lang? what was the costume of the winner?

Yes, he looks more regal and proud in that pharaoh costume . The grand winner has the tarantula costume . He is a chow chow . So cute also . But you know , last year the winner was a chihuahua i think , and of tarantula costume too .

Doesn't he look cute, congrats to him. Our dog won the 'dog with the waggiest tail' at a local fete once.

@SIMPLYD My dog is long gone, but she was a cross between an Old English Sheepdog and Labrador. A huge fluffy bundle of love and I still miss her. We had her for 16 years, and her name was Bonnie.

Beautiful costume. Not my pets, but I have a friend who has a daughter who took her dog to the Annual Dog Show at Madison Square Gardens where she won several categories, but not best of breed, though he was a runner up for it. The pictures my friend had of him were beautiful.

Sometimes , when it is just easy for the owner to have the costume done for the pet , it would make us enthusiastic to join . How i wish she shares with you some pictures so we can take a look at it also . It must be so cute indeed .

@louievill Us too , we have 3 aspins to guard the house . One is at the back , 2 is at the front yard , with Kerby , the cross bred pug / tsih tzu .

my son has pit bulls and last year his dog won the dog show, he wanted us to take care some of his dogs but i don't like the idea, i'm afraid of pitbulls, has large frame but a short kind. you're dog is too cute.

Pit bulls seems ferocious . People get scared by just seeing them . They are very good guard dogs . Really it won the dog show ! Wow ! So , what's his name ? Yeah , Bart is so cute specially in that pharaoh's costume .

He is super cute omg...the look on his face in that pharaoh costume is priceless. It's like he doesn't even know or care about what's going on. I've never joined any contest for my pets.

You are correct ! The pharaoh's costume is so appropriate for his fierce face . But don't be deceived by his looks because he is a loving and kind dog . I haven't heard him bark yet .

@SIMPLYD So his breed is just the same as my neighbor's but their dog is bigger than you cute doggie. i noted their faces are almost similar. This must be very expensive!

Thank you , He is a French bulldog , and a walking sperm bank as @kewkumber said in my previous post about him, because he is a stud , one who is used for mating other compatible dogs , for a fee .
