Back in the 1990's, my friend and I had tickets to what would've been the greatest lineup I'd ever seen.
The lineup was Sisters of Mercy, Public Enemy, Anthrax, and Gang of Four. At Red Rocks.
The tour was cancelled, something, according to Sisters vocalist Andrew Eldritch, about America not being able to handle white crowd's and black crowd's in the same place. So, we traded our tickets for a David Sanborn show in Downtown Denver.
Prior to going inside, some heroic drinking took place, MD 20/20, if it matters.
I was so loaded sitting there that I was seeing two David Sanborn's onstage.
Seriously, I literally had to watch the show with one eye closed.
I'm surprised I didn't get sick. It was definitely the drunkest I've ever been at a concert.
But, you know, guys in their 30's should know their limit, right? I just ignored all that and went for it.
And I got to see two David Sanborn's for the price of one.

No, just a problem with a guy in the audience.

This is so funny! Good for you. I'm glad you lived to tell the tale. Vince went to a concert on 23 April 1966 which featured Bob Dylan with Roy Orbison as the support act. No-one wanted Roy Orbison to leave and in the end they had to just bring Dylan on. Then the crowd was happy enough and settled down until Dylan brought out his electric guitar at which point he got severely heckled by the diehard acoustic fans in the audience.

@teamfreak16 Ha ha, that's true. We have acoustic for our indoor concerts but we're all sitting on top of the musos anyway so there is no need for amplification.

@JudyEv - Acoustic music is good and never really goes out of style.

When Dylan went electric, people acted like he'd sold state secrets.

I did get to see the Sisters a few years later, thank goodness.
