Can you find the moon and the hawk in this photograph?

Some "artistic ideas" work better in the mind than in real life. My kid client and I watched as a red tailed hawk settled in on a tower to scan for tasty bunnies. Then we noticed the waxing moon just to the right. I started blabbing about how many contrasts there were in this scene: the natural v. the man-made, the old v. the new, the living v. the non-living, etc. Even as I snapped the photo, I knew that it would work better in our minds' eyes than in reality. But here it is. Have you ever had "artistic ideas" that you couldn't quite get to work in reality?

I cannot see a hawk, but there are two moons. One is shown in the upper right of the photograph while the other is too low to see and is the man tying his shoelaces.

I feel bad for some body types when they bend over.

It wasn't too hard to find the moon, but the hawk isn't as easy, I didn't find it.

It's kind of nestled in on top of the tower that's to the lower left.

Let me ask the same question as others here. 'Where is the hawk' (lol) And as for my artistic ideas not working how I wished all what I planted in the garden yielded results (lol)

@TheHorse You are right. Anything could be called 'gardens';

Gardens are kind of metaphors too. I wish more of my literal gardens bore fruit. And I wish more of my seeds of ideas bore fruit!

I see the moon ~ not quite the hawk! Can you add a comment and circle the hawk for us hehe. I stared long and hard too, hehe.

moon sure, hawk no. But often yes, I can see art in my head and it looks dumb when I try to recreate it

I was actually composing this post in my head as I spoke with my kid client about how sometimes It's hard to capture your "brilliant" idea in a photograph.

I can see the moon and I thought I could see two hawks but they're specks on my screen. :) That was before I read the rest of the post. Is it sitting in the pylon to the left?

It is. It just looks like a little dust bunny, but it was there, watching.

The hawk appears tiny. He's atop the tower to the lower left.

I can only see the moon - it looks great against the blue sky.

Yes, the sun was pretty far to the West, and this view was to the East, so I knew the sky would look pretty. But the hawk was just too far away for me to do him justice. He's atop the lower left tower.

I found the moon, but can barely see the hawk in the tower, if it is indeed a hawk.

Yep, that's him. I couldn't do him justice. He was circling, presumably looking or bunnies or squirrels, then landed there.

Can't see the hawk for the life of me. It's a pretty cool shot nonetheless.

The moon is in the upper right corner. The hawk looks like a dust bunny on the lower left tower.
