Spring Flowers Are Blooming Everywhere

United States

Spring flowers are blooming everywhere and yet we are being told by the weatherperson that snow is on its way and that the temperatures are going down to 30 degrees this weekend. Rats! It is so beautiful outside today. The sky is a beautiful blue color, but the wind is kicking up so that is what will likely bring in the colder temperatures. Thankfully, my weekend is FREE. I don’t have any events to attend, except a Christian meeting on Sunday. If snow is on the roads, I won’t be going there either, but I will just have to wait and see. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, in spite of the weather, whatever that may be for your area. Photo by Pixabay

Lovely photo. It's just gorgeous in South Florida. We heard about the snow, and hope it's the last of it.

Are you heading North any time soon. You may run into some winter weather.

@DianneN Surely, by April 3, winter will be gone! It's all overcast here today and the temperature right now is 47 degrees. It's supposed to go down to the 33 F overnight, with a chance of snow tomorrow. I hope not.

@IreneVincent The snow better be gone by the time we get home!!!! I never want to see it again. We will be home on April 3, when the weather is not ideal.

Wow they are already in bloom. Hmmmm Here in my place, it is official that it's already summer. I can feel the hot weather now especially during noontime. But in the evening and early mornings, it is still a little cold.

The Philippine Islands are on the other side of the Earth from me. So, it is summer there now? When do you have a winter season? What month does winter start?

@brokenbee OK so your "winter" colder months are really the same as ours. I wondered about that. It's about 0 degrees Celsius this morning. 33 degrees F. And raining right now. It's supposed to warm up later this week, though, starting tomorrow and will be in the 70s F by Wednesday. March weather is always up and down.

@IreneVincent I think we don't really have winter season here in the Philippines. We only have two seasons, rainy and summer. But it also starts to get a little cold during -ber months which is normally around 20 to 26 degrees Celsius. I think that is still warm for some. We have the coldest mornings during January to February.

That is a lovely photo. It looks like our leptospernum or ti-tree but maybe it's one of the flowering fruit trees. They have beautiful blossom too.

Yes, I'm thinking it is an apple tree maybe. I'm getting some of my photos now from Pixabay.com. I just learned how to do that a couple days ago. It's a great site and I think photos can really add to my posts. I plan to put a few more up today.

@IreneVincent I like to have a photo if I can. If I can't find something appropriate I usually just use a flower or plant.

@JudyEv Yes, I agree. A photo enhances the post. Makes it much better. Besides I love to see photos of different things and places.
