School year 2015-2016 has just ended yesterday in the Catholic school where my youngest daughter is a Grade 8 student. Yesterday morning she went to school to attend the recognition day where she received an award. My daughter was very happy when she arrived home and told me that next school year 2016-2017, she will be in Grade 9 which means three more years she will be in college. Photo is my youngest daughter and I taken yesterday night as we went out to dine and do some girl bonding.

Congratulations on your daughters award. Our Catholic school where my grandson is graduating grade 8 won't end until June.

Thanks @BelleStarr. Well, in our high school, the school year starts on June and ends on March but some of the colleges and universities here in our country, change the school year,to start on August and ends up on June. Same as yours.

@Macarrosel You will have a rest for a while now. Me too. I have a tutorial center so I don't have work now since it's vacation.

Yeah and this means I don't have to wake up early to prepare food and things for my daughter. Thank you @weird_oh_me

This grade beyond grade 6 is just totally mind boggling me. there was just grade on eto 6 then high school and then college. well, i hope by that time she will be ready, just enjoy the moments you have together when you have the time. And make it as soon as possible.
