So I'm sitting here with my step dad and step grandma at the hospital and everything is calm. Grandma is resting and me and dad are on our phones and tablets.
I came up with a great idea to write about and was about to write about it when my dad and I started talking about a tv show we are watching. 10 minutes or so later I came back to my tablet and sure enough the idea is gone.
So I'm sitting here staring at my tablet hoping the idea will come back. Maybe later it will.....
Does this happen to you? This happens all too often to me. That's why I write everything down.

@infatuatedbby See everyone tells me to do that. I just don't think about that. I don't use my phone to anywhere near its full potential. Nor my computer. I am old fashioned I guess and still like pen and paper. or pen and hand...hehe

@T_gray It does happen to me most times. But there is no point in hating the fact that the idea is gone. You were in the hospital and when dad talks you have to respond. It will come and then you can write it done.

I have had that happen and I hate it! Now I try to write at least the idea of it somewhere so I don't forget. Thats not always possible though.

Sometimes it does Tiff. I am so scatter brained if I don“t do the discussion right away when the spark hits me, it is gone and on to something else.
I hope your Grandma is doing fine.

It's funny isn't it? The idea can just completely disappear. Sometimes I can go back to what I was thinking before the thought and the interruption and rethink my way through all the twists and turns to get back to my idea. But it doesn't always work.

It was house hunters I think on HGTV. We were talking about how we can't believe how high these people budgets are when one spouse is a stay at home mom...or something like that. Where do they get all this money!!?? I think the one was over a million dollars. It was crazy.

Yes, that has happened to me. I will have a great idea in my mind and a few minutes or so later, I will forget that great idea.

Maybe, all of us experience this when we are about to write, the idea has just gone and nothing that we can write, for me when this happen, I just go to recent discussions and interact other members until I can remember back what is stolen from my memories.
