Windows 10. Have you got it? Do you like it? Just wondering if anyone out there is finding it to be a hit. I got it free, and I guess time will tell how much better it makes using my PC. What do you think about Windows 10? Is it proving to be reliable? Innovative? Exceptional? I am still learning about it, but the fact that I got it free allowed me to explore its features and functions.

I have it, it was on the PC I bought. It’s not as good as windows 7 and I still think windows XP is better that 7. It’s definitely much better than windows 8.1. Does that help any?

I think the business end of XP is still supported @Talknpen but the home addition I had no longer is .... I don't think it's still on the market but those companies that are using it have had it since the beginning and pro windows are always very expensive so many of the smaller companies simply kept it.

@rebelann I'm probably in the minority, but I actually liked Windows 8.1 and I'm missing some of the features right now. I never really enjoyed Windows 7, but maybe that was because the computer I had at the time gave me lots of trouble.

Good Day rebelann. It absolutely helps that you made that response because I agree. Windows 10 is proving to be not as good as Windows 7, and I have always been a big fan of Windows XP. I never tried Windows 8 as far as I can recall. I heard Windows XP was still being used by a military branch after it stopped being supported.

I had windows 10 but since I use my laptop most of the time I didn't get the chance to actually explore it so I'm back to windows 7.

Well, I really did not and do not have a problem with windows 7. I was just curious about win 10. To be honest, I have yet to be impressed by windows 10.

@psyedelicbworm taking some time to evaluate options is a good idea. You have to ask yourself. Will this work with my other software? How do I safely find out?

@Talknpen It was a big change if you're used to windows 7 however my sister likes windows 10 and uses it on a daily basis. Funny thing is if we ever have to use the others laptop we tend to take a minute or two trying to figure out what to do.

We just upgraded to Windows 10 at work from 7 or 8. I liked thr previous one wr had but probably just because I was used to it. It will definitely take somr time to get used to 10! I have actually heard bad reviews about it though!

You are fortunate due to the fact that you can test drive the software at work before you decide if you like it on your own PC. Personally, I am not seeing anything exceptionally innovative.

My mom has Win10 on her computer but I personally use Linux. When I do use it Win10 seems to be okay, I am pretty sure my next laptop will be coming with it so I will have some hands on with it, but I also will dual boot it with Ubuntu as well.

I guess flexibility is the key to working with what you got and extending options.

I had windows 10. But it doesn't work well to me. It is too slow so I used window 7 instead.

I am finding that to be interesting. I am trying to figure if it is too feature heavy. I guess I am going to continue to find as many benefits as possible. Going back and forth is such a headache. If I find more benefits than issues I may stay, if not, I may have to switch.
