Has Trump inspired violence across the country or Americans are just like that?

It seems that the violence at Donald Trump campaign events is attracting more and more attention as attacks on protesters have escalated over the past month. Has trump inspired violence across the country or Americans are just like that? While the clashes have mounted as Trump comes closer to securing the nomination, violence has been part of his campaign from the beginning. The media has registered his supporters punching, kicking, choking, and harassing people at his events, and in his name since he launched his campaign. It’s not surprising when he entered the presidential race by comparing Mexicans to rapists and criminals, and has since insulted women, disparaged Muslims and immigrants, and threatened violence against Black Lives Matter activists and other protesters. As Trump’s hateful rhetoric has increased, so have violent, often racist or xenophobic attacks against people at his campaign events. Some Trump supporters have even taken to using the real estate mogul’s name as a racist taunt. What is going on, America? It is his campaign style, OK, is his prerogative. But is average American believes blindfolded in violence? Do we buy his style? (I’m not talking about his ideas or politics content, just the style)

Any people anywhere don't need to be stereo typed as all the same. However when it comes to representing a country I would say its elected leaders could help determine how others see that country. This may not have anything to do very much with policy or even politics but just image?

@CoralLevang I agree with what you presented, it's true. We need to look at the bigger picture and not to put everyone into one pigeon hole. I for one certainly don't think Americans are as you said "a bunch of warmongering..." anymore than I might think that of say Russian people. What I meant by image is that countries on the world theater all portray an image of themselves and leaders help establish that image. That's all I was saying just image. It has little to do with politics actually.

Some have no compunctions in dividing people into artificial borders. It's so much better to make a pitch for an inclusive society - siva

The reality of bullying and being tough just doesn't go away, does it? Trump is privileged and lives in a mansion that most of us can't imagine but if it takes his getting into every day clothes and being raunchy mouthed, he will do it. And go home to have his butler serve him dinner.
