If I Won The Lottery

First, I would quit my job. Then I would tell everyone I dislike that I dislike them. Then, I would fly off to a tropical island where I would sip down exotic drinks from a coconut.
After a few months, my family may notice that I was missing, so I would send for them - to be placed on a different island. I'd visit them from time to time, but a man needs his space.

I'll probably put the money in some funds so that I can 'grow' my money. Until I can think of a better way to spend my money fruitfully so that I can retire peacefully, I'll probably still continue with my normal life.

I would donate money to charity and give a bundle to my cousin and brother. I would hire a professional editor and go on a shopping spree. I could go to a writer's conferences that's quite expensive. I would love to visit Grand Canyon in honor of my mother and buy a Cessna plane to do some in-person research for novels and travel. This is off the top of my head.

I would probably go to church first, give my tithe and pray for guidance and protection that so much money won't ruin my life and those around me

@RussTeed very true, i know a local boy in our place who won the philippine lottery, he's back to almost nothing now and his wife left for another man, even his relatives hate him cause he changed when he had the money and squandered everthing gambling and womanizing, i don't want to be in his shoes

@louievill That is just awful. I hear this over and over that the winners become losers.

That's a good plan you have there
..May you win .. all the best! ..
If I won a lotto, I will use the money to set up the headquarter of my religion I call 'EQUALITY'.. and see what happens

@russteed I love my job and am obliged to live in a house provided by my employer. I'd also still only be entitled to 6 weeks holiday a year so I don't know how is spend my winnings. Suppose I'd have to wait for retirement then spend it quickly.

I guess I might still live the same, but spend more time and money to help others in need, since I don't need so much time to work now. I am quite happy with the life I have now, though frugal life, I guess that's enough for me and my family. I think my parents and siblings have more than enough as well, so I'd prefer to spend the money to help those really in need.

LOL Love the telling people you dislike how you really feel about them and I can relate to that!

I would definitely be with my family!
If I ever won the lottery I would buy a home for my family, buy a vehicle that would last a long time, I would help so many people that need it, I would donate to my church, and I would open my daycare. =)
