I was chosen to train the new comers at work and it is a nice to be chosen by the managers to train the newcomers. I started just over year ago, so does not feel that long ago I was in their position nervous about learning all the work processes etc. Hopefully I can be patient and good enough to teach them the right things. I am slightly worried in case they ask me something I don't know!! I am training 2.30pm to 9pm! Wish me luck!

That's a new thing to do, my friend. I used train a hundred people before. It is more on community projects under the non-government and government agency. It is challenging, but also fun.

It will be good that they ask something you do not know. In this way, you will get to learn too. If they do not ask question, you have to worry about their interest in the job. Only those who want to work will ask questions.

Good way of looking at it. I just don't want ot have to ask my manager which is quite embarrassing as he did say to me don't come asking me questions!!

Definitely wishing you lots of luck... but I don't think that you will need it! And for the question that you might not know the answer to, just say... "you know that is a really good question that never occurred to me!" That makes the "student" feel quite clever and then tell him you will look it up and get back to him. I had a professor say that to me once and I felt soooo smart lol!!
