School Bus Vandalism!

Local school district here has had their buses vandalized. I wanted to get a link for you but it seems this isn't the first incident as there's been reports going back two years on it.
On the news it showed footage of a cement block being thrown through the glass of a window, narrowly missing the bus driver. One other was thrown directly at the windshield, but seemed to merely crack it.
I am almost certain they were talking about the local district but they could've been talking about another. EIther way, this is crazy.
On one of the other incidents of a few years ago? They were able to find the person(s) responsible. I think this must be something gang related to be having gone on year after year. Maybe some sort of initiation.

People behind these vandalisms must be thinking it's for good fun but what they don't realise is that it could be a dangerous and fatal joke. If they did that and the bus driver gets too shocked and distracted and get into an accident they will be horrified. Plus it's a bus other people are also in it and may get hurt if the driver fails.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It shouldn't be done with or without kids. A bus is too big if it hits something it's going to be a disaster. Why can't they just paint and make something beautiful rather than vandalise. Geez. Teenagers.

The fact that it is a school bus on top of that. It seems these incidents are done when no kids are on the bus but even so, it should not be done at all.

I don't think they have yet caught them. One bus driver could have been seriously injured and wrecked the bus had it hit her! I just have to shake my head and sigh because it's so sad and so ridiculous.

I know I would not want to drive a school bus after that. The footage of one incident showed the cement block landing nearly at the driver's feet.

I do not believe it was targeted to just one bus. However, you are right why go after a driver at all.

Sounds like it could be gang related. They have initiations that the pledgee has do certain things to become a member and this could be some of it.

what's got into these people, they must be so bored with their lives. I hope they the people involved gets arrested.
