Thank goodness for the nurse!

My health insurance assigned a nurse to me, to call me periodically and help me with any health concerns I have. She's been absolutely amazing to me in all the time since I lost my husband, and she's seen me at my worst and not quite my best, but a lot better! And she still calls.
Today, she heard all of my stress talking and while I was yammering on and on, she was looking up helpful information for me. I have a list of phone numbers I can call with questions about my house and my income tax and a few other problems I'm having. She's a real life line to me some days.
Who do you have in your life who will sit and listen to you on your bad days? We all know how important that is!

I am not a mama's boy but I always confide with my lovely mother. She is always there to listen and give advises to me. I am not open with casual friends because I had experience betrayal for a couple of times. On regards to lovely nurses, well, I had also experience TLC (tender loving care) from them. It was the time when I had a surgery at the age of 6.

It's wonderful when you have a husband who can genuinely be there for you. I miss that in my life and I'm so happy to know that you have someone that close! :)

I'm in counseling with a pastor, and he's been my emotional lifeline as well. He knows exactly where to direct me so I can see the hand of God in my situation.

That is really nice that your nurse is helping you with practical stuff too. I have a few good friends to turn to when things are bad
