A bit of an unexpected start to the morning, in this corner of the, wet and windy, island. As a rule when it is Bank Holiday time in the UK you can count on the weather, if not sending you a storm, being very wet. So right now it is all very pleasant and likely to remain so until this afternoon. Time to make the most of it!

Today it has been a mix of sun and dark clouds, tomorrow it should be sunny, but we are going to have rain from Easter until the next Tuesday.

What we call those holidays like Memorial Day. I do believe it was because the banks were closed on a normal banking day.
