The 5K Anti-Christ

Annually, the Colorado Rockies hold a 5K called The Rockies Home Run, which benefits Rockies-approved charities. It's a fun race, ending with a lap along the warning track inside Coors Field.
I had already registered, but had to pick up my race number at the race. As you can see, I was given the number 666.
A guy gave me grief about how he wouldn't wear it, and neither should I. Well I sure would, being just another number, although I did get more than a few really dirty looks.
After the race, we all got two free beers. One of my roommates and her friends gave me their coupons and left.
So #666 proceeded to get good and tanked, probably to the surprise of no one, many of whom were still giving me nasty looks. (Don't worry, I took the light rail instead of driving, although my new-found friend's probably figured that someone as evil as I was planning to drive home.)
It certainly was an interesting day, and all due to a race number.

@teamfreak16 Ohh! You answered my question. I didn't see anything wrong with the number 666.I am not very religious and would have not known. But to me, the number would be lucky like how it's 777!

@infatuatedbby - it is just another number to me. Knowing full well what it means, I figured I'd have fun with it.

666 has significant meaning to Christian's (I may have misinterpreted the question, if so, I apologize.)

That is awesome. People logic is always so befuddling. If anyone with any sense actually stopped and thought about it. They would have seen you were there supporting a good cause. How could you be evil? Plus, it shows you have a sense of humor. All they see is a number and think Satan, that man is evil. Sad really.

I agree. To me, I know the significant meaning to the number, but 1245 wouldn't have been as fun. I figured I would have some fun with it. What would have been epic is if I'd worn my "Kooler than Jesus" t-shirt.

In a way, it's lucky I got the number, seeing how I was probably the only one who would wear it anyway.

Exactly. I was expecting to get hammered, but so far everyone but one agrees with me.

Your discussion reminded me of an Iron Maiden song I used to listen to ages ago
One of the best Iron Maiden songs XD. WARNING: All comments that are about religion or the apocalypse will be deleted

Not trying to offend anyone, but to me, it's just a number.
Then again, I do understand not wanting to wear it, which seemed the general consensus.
