Down On The River

Yesterday, as soon as I got out of school, we hooked up the travel trailer and headed for the river. We got here about 6pm EDT. Getting here then gave us ample time to get set up and order pizza. Z, our youngest, is spending the first couple nights with us. K and I are staying until Monday.
Are you doing anything, or going, anywhere special this holiday weekend?

Ahhhh, I wish we could get a small travel trailer. My hubby keeps saying that we will one day have one so we can venture off for the weekend and enjoy ourselves.
We are having my children and their spouses over for dinner on Sunday. Other than that, maybe go outside and enjoy the warm weather that we will have today and tomorrow.

It's not really a holiday weekend for most of us as it's just Saturday and Sunday with no extra days off.

If our district hadn't scheduled it's Spring Break for next week, I'd have no days off for Easter, either. But by the root definition of holiday - Holy Day - this is a holiday weekend for those who observe Easter. My wife had to use a vacation day to take Monday off so we could stay an extra night.
