Hello fellow...myLot-ers? Its Ambs!
Being a member of myLot for less than 10 minutes, I felt the need to introduce myself before attempting to learn the ropes and become an active participant in the interesting people and topics that made me want to join in the first place.
My name is Amber, I am 29 years old, live in the same general area of the Phoenix valley that I was born and raised in. Living in the same place my entire life allows for a growing need to travel and explore other parts of the world as much as time and money will allow. The need has grown so much in fact, that I am currently awaiting my departure for Europe where I will complete a teaching abroad program and teach English in other countries. I'm sure there will be posts about this journey in the future.
I'm the only daughter out of six kids. The reaction I get from people when they learn I have five brothers is amusing to say the least. I recently finished my Master's degree in Education and worked in education for a few years before deciding to pursue this journey of teaching abroad.
Singing has always made me happy, and I do it all the time. I've written songs and auditioned and performed for several things. I could not imagine my life without singing and music.
I have never been married or had kids, which as a 29 year old I thought would happen by now, but the grass always appears greener on the other side. Currently I am working side jobs to save money for my adventure to Europe, and trying to enjoy this short time we have on this planet.
That's about all I got for now. I look forward to getting to know some of you and your stories!

I went to Arizona State University, and will be getting my certification to teach abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. I am interested in either staying in Prague or ideally living in Italy. =)

Welcome to mylot. Since you introduced yourself so beautifully, I think I should give some of my introduction too.
I am 28 years. old female. I am single. I have never been married either and have no kids. I have two younger brothers. I am a B.Sc. graduate and Diploma holder in Software Engg. I used to teach at middle school while I did my studying through Distance learning and evening classes. Then I worked as a Data Analyst. Then became a Java trainer.
I can gloat about how an awesome person I am by nature. 
But I would spare you. 
But seriously, You will have a good time here. I had joined almost 2 months ago. I am loving it here. People are so friendly.

Welcome to MyLot. I'm sure you'll find plenty of interest here and maybe make some friends. There are people from all over the world here so you can at least travel vicariously.
My guess is that, with five brothers, you know exactly what men are like and so curiosity hasn't led you into any long-term unwise partnership, which could be said to be a good thing, perhaps.

Thank you for the welcome. =) I am already finding many interesting topics to be a part of and making friends is definitely a reason I joined!
My five brothers definitely taught me a lot about men, that's for sure! Things happen for a reason, so I am happy whether I end up in a long-term partnership or not. =)

That's a great introduction. You will do well here I can bet on that I have been here around 8 years and that itself is proof enough that I like it here. I too love travel and have covered quite a bit of the globe including Europe.
