When someone gives you false hope...

Earlier if I had written this it would have been a full blown rant but since reading the responses on my previous posts I actually felt better. Thanks guys!
Anyway so I have been trying to have my eldest bro try out the temporary tattoos I made. He agreed to try it out so I sent some to him and his girl several days ago. Told me he'd try it on last week but never did. Said he'd do it this week but it's already Saturday night here. Wait, it's almost 1am Easter Sunday!
So there I felt really really upset earlier because it felt like he was just pulling my leg. Putting the temp tatts would not take more than 3 minutes and yet they seem to be having a hard time putting 'em on!!!
It's either that or they somehow lost it or just don't care one whit.
Now I'm here telling you all about it. I did ask him again thru msg if he's put it on already but he hasn't been online for the whole day.
It just feels really bad when someone gives you false hope.
We call that paasa here. Usually the word paasa is used by those who've been love spurned but it can also apply to other scenarios like what's happening to me. I didn't expect him to do that to me but sh*t happens so I don't think I'd even bother anymore at this point.
Do you get angry or annoyed too when someone tells you something but don't really do it at the expected time/date/place? Makes me wanna hit something or scream out loud sometimes.

Then they should just tell me about it. But noooo, he kept saying maybe this day or this day but never does it.

@wiLLmaH Nah, busy to put it on in just 3 minutes max? I don't think so.

Maybe next time, knowing this about him, you might try it from a different direction. Can I come over and try these cool tats on you? Make a date. Then if he doesn't like them you can wash them off for him right then and there and he won't have to mess with it at all. That may be why he doesn't do it. He doesn't want to mess with it if he doesn't like it.

@celticeagle oh he should know I can take it. I did as you suggested and still he's giving me the silent treatment. Why bother anymore. Beeing "seenzoned" on Facebook messaging is not fun.

Good god, is he a baby that I need to do things for him? I'd waste more time and money when he doesn't even respond now. I did think of doing that too but now it's too late. I'd rather not bother with him anymore. Such a shame when I was so excited to see how it'd look on him.

I wouldn't bother at all either cause he seems as if he just doesn't care.

Then he should just have told me in the beginning so I wouldn't have spent time and money and effort sending it to him in the first place. Tsk tsk. I don't even know what to think anymore. I just won't bother anymore. Such a disappointment though when you're given false hope all the time instead of them just saying no.
I asked him which design he wanted, told me to pick one for him so I did. And now this?

When I was really young my cousins would sometimes ask permission from my parents for me to sleep in their house and that would really excite me. Sleeping in my cousins' house would mean playing and eating all night long. Sometimes, when the promised to pick me up, it would just turn into disappointments because they never came. False hope.
