Online friends are real friends too

I started this post as I have been missing my online friend whom I've met in a language learning site. When I started to have a connection with people from around the globe by the use of internet, I thought online friends will just remain online friends due to distance.. But my online friend visited me and that was the start of our good friendship. After 4 years, I decided to visit him and I am glad to know that nothings change. He is still my the friend I have met over the internet.I realize how lucky I am for having a friend like him.
How about you? Any great experiences with your friends online?

Good to hear that. I only have one online friend who visited me here and I won't forget him until I grow old. I did not regret the time that I allowed him to be a part of our family. I was reluctant at first because I knew him for few months only but when he visited and stayed with us, I discovered how wonderdul it is. It is really a must not to judge a person easily.

@LdeL0318 He is a great guy and I even fell in love with him but I think it is better that we just remain friends. Indeed, we had great time together when he was here. The only sad day was when he was about to go back to his own country.

That is good. It is a good thing to have many friends. And what is more wonderful is meeting true friends.

I've had several online friends from different countries and had the chance one of them when I went to Bangkok. But my online friends still remain to be my friends after 5 years already. Wow, it's been that long. We still communicate, tell each other about our lives and sometimes have fun by talking on Skype.

That is really nice. It is really a significant experience to meet a friend from other country. Especially if you love to travel, having a friend from a different country will make it easier to know the culture.

It will come when the time is right. You may visit them first if you have the chance. I dream of meeting all my friends around the world in the hear future. I believe it will be a great opportunity for me to know them, their country and culture too.

I have met some of my mylot friends a couple of years ago. I was very shy at first but shockingly it was me that first to arrive at their meet up. Unfortunately, time flies by and they got other things to do, I can't blame if i wasn't much thing to talk to. they're busy even to come to mylot. I wish i would have the opportunity to meet people online and get to be their friend for life.
