It's Monday here and it was Easter Day yesterday. Though we do not really celebrate Easter Day, I thought of having a little egg hunt activity for my children. I have been making some Easter crafts this month. Yesterday morning, I hid all the treasures and left them the hints. They were excited to find the first egg pocket with the hint when they woke up, and started to hunt for the treasures. I put all the crafts in pair, so they worked as a team and when they found the treasures, they'd give one to another. After they have finished hunting, they started to enjoy their breakfast - hard-boiled eggs, and my son started to plan another egg hunt for my husband and I. He drew the hints and hid the crafts I made for him, and let us hunt for them. They have also been playing with their treasures all day long, especially the colorful eggs with shells. It seems like a good game for them. How did you celebrate Easter Day? Did you have egg hunt activity? Image: These are the "treasures" I made for my children

@infatuatedbby My kids like to play with the eggs the most too, as they can play them with a few ways that they think of. Those are the easier to make, perhaps I should make more for them or for other kids as well.

Thanks. It's actually I didn't want to buy plastic eggs, and didn't want to use so many real eggs, so I just made some crafts on my own. Moreover, there are so many Easter craft patterns online, I was always tempted to make some of them. It's really fun to make them as well. Kids always like to play, and hunt for treasures, I guess. They like surprises too! That's why I always secretly make toys for them.

Good that your kids give value to your efforts as today's kids are cat's whiskers sometimes. Happy that you and your family enjoyed some family moments together.

Yes, I am always thankful for their forgiveness, though I am not really good at making crafts, they do not mind at all.

Thanks. Those are like egg shells, and the eggs can actually be used to let the children learn how to match the colors, though I don't intend to let my children do that. They like to play with the eggs, with their own designed games.
