How was your Easter?

Hope you had a nice Easter. Hubby and I didn't do much. We went to church, stopped by grandsons to give them their Easter eggs, came home, I took a nice nap, while hubby watched TV.
Hubby made a ham for dinner, which was yummy. Then we just relaxed the rest of the day.
I miss having liitle ones running around hunting Easter eggs.

It was sort of dreary here today. I don't know if my family had an easter egg hunt but I imagine so. I bought a ham for dinner, with pinto beans (in a can) and some mashed potatoes. Thinking I'll make another trip round to get potato salad and mac and cheese to go with the left over ham.

My hubby made a BIG ham, we'll be eating ham leftovers all week.

@lilnana1111 Yes we have ham for days as well. I love just popping it in the microwave or in the frying pan to make a bit cripsy. Yummy.

It was rainy. My mother didn't get to visit. But other than that I had a good Easter.

everybody but the kids went to the church early in the morning. it was quiet for the most part of the morning. then my brothers family came late lunch. we watch movies and mama cooked early dinner. it was the usual family day. not to mention my nephew who played and peeled all the bananas in the kitchen.

It sounds like you had an enjoyable day. My mom and I went to a Holy Saturday Easter service at church. Today, we went out to eat, for a change, instead of cooking.
