A Handy Huntsman

I know this has happened to everyone. You put a word in a search engine and the word is changed as you commence the search. Or autocorrect comes back to bite you when you are texting someone. Tonight I typed in "huntsman" as part of a movie title. It was changed to "handyman". And just now when I typed in "handyman" it changed itself to "Guantanamo". I'm not kidding you. I cannot begin to understand why. When I would text about my niece, Amyra, autocorrect would change it to Amtrak. So I guess she's now got a nickname. So far autocorrect hasn't embarrassed me when I sent a text out unknowingly bearing the mark of unfortunate autocorrect mistakes.

I think that to be sure not to make mistakes, it's a lot better to turn off the autocorrect feature.

@AmbiePam They are all different, but in the settings there is always the possibility to turn off the auto correct.

I love to read the autocorrect memes. But I never had that happened on the computer.

autocorrect helps me most of the times... but yeah at times it makes me feel so stupid in group chats when you are in that flow of chatting and you forget to c what you are actually entering...

Siri does not like my accent so when I talk into the phone instead of typing it goes crazy. I said "K Vegas" the other day (it's a nickname for a town here) and siri autocorrected it to "Keegan's".
