I read an article today, which shocked me totally. Apparently deaths due to selfies has surpassed deaths caused by shark attacks. About a month ago a group of engineering students (14 in all ) had visited a mountainous area in India. Of the 14,12 were laying on the edge of the cliff with legs dangling down, and there was this 13Th chap standing in a position in front of them taking the selfie along with this group in the background. the photo was taken, but while trying to get up from that position, one of them slips and since all were holding hands , in a fraction of second drags the whole group down. I cant understand what is it about selfies that drives people doing such crazy things. Is life become so worthless or is it just worth that 5 minutes of adrenaline rush?
whenever my kids go to picnic or outing with friends the first instruction given to them is, not to take selfies standing on the edge of any place trying to capture scenery behind. Thankfully they listen.

I think if they can't get their selves from being crazy in selfies... at least they should be more careful in doing it. I know it is fun and they are just having fun... but hey! Life is life, one minute you have it the next thing you know you lost it.
I think people should always think about their safety... specially to the youngsters. They always say that people who don't do their risky kind of life are Kill Joy... everyone should take a risk but be wise. My goodness!
