Patty Duke who won an oscar for the Miracle Worker has died at the age of 69 "Her cause of death was sepsis from a ruptured intestine. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, a mental health advocate and a cultural icon. She will be missed." .

She was a gifted actress. I saw again The miracle Worker at Netflix. I saw if decades ago in the cinema. Awesome!.

I'm not sure who she is {because of my age or because I'm in the UK?!} but find it interesting to note her age. 69 seems to be the new 27. Very sad.
