There was a time, a few short years ago, when I thought that Fate had decided it was time for me to join the Young Widow Society. However, Fate hadn't decided that at all and was simply teasing me. Instead I am a different sort of widow, one who has lost her Husband to the God of Gaming. Husband is currently worshipping at the altar of Grand Theft Auto {number five}, having had it delivered today after finding it dirt cheap on Amazon. Usually he likes to whizz around space visiting planets in Star Wars: the Old Republic, but he's swapped his light-saber for an arsenal of guns and is now blundering his way round San Andreas. Boys. Do they ever grow up?

My husband does not like games, he never plays computer games, except Chess, but this is another matter. I am the games player.

Apparently not. Mine is currently attached to Final Fantasy XIV. I just don't get the game thing anymore... Used to be into them heavily when I joined myLot, but found my true priorities are elsewhere. Hubs hasn't caught up yet... not sure if he ever will, given how intensely he plays them.

You wouldn't like us if we grew up. We'd be no fun at all. And according to the rules of life, since I made it past 50 without growing up, now I don't have to.

I like some games. I'm partial to Little Big Planet, and I did play The Old Republic for a short while. But I don't have enough dedication to play things properly, or for a long time.

gigglin' :D i'm most thankful that the hubs doesn't partake'n puters nor games. bad 'nough that's most all the eldest son talks'f, lol. noperz, they ne'er grow up! don't matter how long we raise 'em.

I agree. My fiance used to be really into gaming. Well now he is addicted to a zombie game on his phone. And chess on facebook.
