Power outage took 10 hours

I woke up 5:00 A.M. today to do my routine and almost 6:00 A.M. I came back home, doing the chores and washing the clothes. Exactly 7:00 A.M. their is power outage, I'm thankful that I'm done with my washing and rinsing. After an hour, the power hasn't came back so I decided to open the store even if I'm not done taking a bath. Here in my place, when their is power outage, the water supply will also stop. When I prepare our foods for our lunch, there is no water and power supply and I found myself so warm and untidy, so I just take a shower. Until 5:00 P.M. the power supply came back but their is no water yet and I found our water tank was empty because of watering always our plants and that's the reason. I was so glad when the water is back at exactly 7:00 P.M. and that's the time I feel so fresh and clean when I take a bath. This is the 2nd time of this month that we have a very long power outage and no water and we expect it to happen again because of the continuous heat that lower the water level of our power source. Did you experience this also that you haven't take a bath for a day because of no water and no electric fan beside you? What a terrible heat that I experience this day.

We never have any power blackouts and if so, then it`s for a long planned meintenance work and they announce right on time and it does never last more than a few hours

here in our place and summer season is on, we expect this to happen because the source of our electricity is from water then the water level is very low due to extreme heat, so they can't sustain our electric needs, they're dividing the power supply to each cooperative.

This is very long and annoying, so many hours can be a serious problem for the food inside the refrigerator.

Before when we still get water through water pump , we would have no water too when there's power outage . Thus because of that we also connected with the local water supplier . At least even without electricity , we can take a bath .

We have our own water pump that uses electricity and we also connect from a local supplier but the local supplier used electricity, so when there is no electricity, they can't supply us also water.

A power outage in your climate must be especially frustrating. I'm glad we don't have them in the UK.

@Yar_Joey If you have an area that you think you can still plant some palm trees, plant it friend so that you can still breath fresh air.

we usually have these power outages at least once a month. Most of the time it's 6 am to 6 in the evening and also most of the time, they still extend, sometimes til 9 in the evening.

With this kind of situation and no extra filled in containers, I can take a bath. But I am still lucky, since I am living in the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

our water supply will stop if we have power outage because our water coop is also using electricity to maintain their business, they're using giant electric pump, it's very annoying if we loss the power

I always make it a point to have much water especially nowadays that it is oh so hot. There was a time that there is an unannounced water interruption, so we go out and check in in an appartelle.

We had the same experience but fortunately, the power outage happened when the climate was still a bit cooler. These past two days though we didn't have water supply for the company that supplies the water reported that a tank had to be repaired. The first day my family didn't have our baths but on the 2nd day, I used half of the gallon (drinking water) and made sure the water will be enough for 3 kids.
