Do you agree with polygamy? / myLot

According to my religion, in the end times the number of women will be greater than the number of men. Thus, polygamy is a best solution to solve this social problem. Because, if polygamy is prohibited, it will be many women who do not have a husband throughout his life. What do you think? Do you agree with polygamy?

Polygamy has never been part of our culture so for me I would find it very hard to accept.

I for one do not like the idea of polygamy, even if it is a polygamist relationship I am not a big fan of it. BUT I cannot say it is wrong for others just because I won't do it. Sometimes people will fall in love with more than 1 person and if everyone falls in love with each other, I guess it is a win? I do not know. Love is love, as long as it isn't with a child or an animal then nothing should prevent it.

Yes, you are right. Most women do not agree with idea. I know, it is difficult for women to share their husband foe another woman. This solution looks not fear for a wife. I don't know, how should I have idea with this case. By the way, thank you for your response.

@srisahara There is that chance of jealousy or insecurity. But if everyone is comfortable with it I cannot say it is bad.

@DesirousDreamer Yes, idea of polygamy does not force all people to accept it, Even, a moslem can take it or not. It just an offer for people who worry if they will come to the adultery. I am sorry if what I say will make you not convenient...

I guess that there are other ways to deal with this. I don´t consider it a problem. Women (and men) don´t have to be married to reach fulfillement

Yes, you are right. We can still life though we do not get married. It is true. I agree with you...Marriage does not the only way to make our life happy. I think there is another way to cope this situation. Thank you for your wise opinion.

Yes, it is difficult case.. As a Moslem I also still hurt to understand and accept this idea. Because this idea profitable for rich men and not fear for wives. Thank you for your opinion.

what can we do to make sure there are a similar number of men and women? Less war? I am not in favour of polygamy and I volunteer to be one of the single women.

Yes, you are right. It is difficult to make sure that the number of women will the same with the number of men. I also do not understand more about the words in my religion. In my opinion, it is difficult to share our husband for another woman. I think not all man able to marry more than one woman.
