What happened to WebAnswers?

Sometime ago I joined a site called WebAnswers where you ask and answer questions. I enjoyed answering questions and even asked my own. As a bonus I was able to use my Google AdSense account and make some extra money. And that actually helped me get to my $100 min AdSense payout faster.
Lately, whenever I wanted to login to the site, after entering my login info, I would find the page loading but my logging in not going through. And enough times the website itself would not even load or I'd get an error message of some sort or a message that the site is offline, etc. Right now I got a message telling me the site can't be reached.
Does anyone know what happened to WebAnswers?

I don't know. i heard they paid good there and poof they were gone.

@lovebuglena Reminds me of Bubblews and then they shut down after 3 years.

I tried to open the site with Firefox and got this: "Unable to connect"

The site no longer exists. It was a good site.

Yes, that is weird, especially when the sites seems like a good site.
