Does it has to be catchy? Does it has to be adapted from the latest hit? Or orginally composed? Campaign jingles. Listening to my neighbor's campaign jingle, it is "can't take my eyes off you" adaptation, i wonder, does the same thing happens to other countries? I know almost each candidates here.in the Philippines has a jingle or song(we, Filipinos has a deep love for music, haha). That they even sing and dance to the tune. Like a total performer and it confuses me more if they are running for an office or be on stage, lol. Do candidates in your area has a campaign jingle too? If you are running for an office, will you have a jingle? What will be your song choice?

Some campaign jingles are catchy and you find yourself humming it. Whether this will translate into votes is debatable. Philippine politics is still base on patronage, vote buying and sadly vote rigging.

I seem to remember campaign jingles being popular here in the US back in the 1970s and before. Nowadays our politicians just seem to borrow existing songs.

So far I have not heard of any jingle yet used in campaign for election. If I were to run for office, I would like my jingle to be I LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE.

Some jingles have catchy tunes. It tends to stick if you like the tune.

Our politicians sometimes have a jingle but often they just have a slogan. I can't imagine our politicians singing and dancing to their party tunes.

There are still a few jingles that I heard in this campaign period, maybe some officials are not yet ready with theirs. One had used Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself", and another one used The Beatles' "Imagine" hihi I like that.
