I live in Austin and today our weekly paper reported that President Obama is going to announce tomorrow that he and family will be moving to Austin after his Presidency. The article reported that he may be accepting a job as Professor in the School of Law. His wife will continue working with girls and the music industry/ scene.
Also, supposedly, the Obama Library is going to be built across the street from the LBJ Library.I thought that Presidents built their library in the state where they were born, raised or spent many years. It does not seem fair to hawaii or Illinois if President Obama does this.
Well, I guess I and many others will be finding out tomorrow. This was the cover story on the Austin Chronicle.

April Fools!!! The Obama Library has been announced for Chicago of course. Obama has already announced he will continue residing in DC with his foundation and watch dog any attempt to overturn any of his exec orders and Obamacare. He would have been at home Austin though.

You may be right but I fell for it. I am attaching a link to the article and keep in mind that this was the cover story. I am not the only person who fell for it.
Apparently President Barack Obama just can't get enough of Torchy's Tacos, traffic, and tech: The first family is set to announce on Friday

@bostonphil Don't feel bad. I feel for something myself, I just can't remember back a month to recall what it was. I'd say Mr. O. belongs back in Chicago.

I was thinking about that myself. I don't know if all do but many do.
Regarding Obama's so called move to Austin: I think it may be an April Fool's joke that I fell for. I am attaching a link to the article that ran in the Chronicle and this was the cover story.

Typical politician. Last year he was moving to Asheville, North Carolina. He does the keynote at SXSW and bang, he's moving to Austin. You'd think he'd go back to Hawaii.
