OK, yes I am a newbie and yes I understand about notifications, but is there a quick way to get rid of all the notifications. The only way I see to do it is by deleting each one.

Yeah I see there is only the way of deleting them one by one. I haven't even deleted any of mine and i have almost 500 notifications racked up on my page. Thank goodness it separates it by what is new and such.

I'll probably just let them pile up as well.

If you dont want them coming to your email fix the settings Jeff. I couldnt stand all the notifies in my mail. I work them from the site itself, much easier for me. I answer each and every notify I get. Hope you can figure a good method for yourself. Welcome too.

The only way is by deleting each one it takes forever. I wish there was a way we could hit select all and delete just like any other website.

Yes, that's the only way, but they drop off by themselves after 7 days.

Thank you and that is very helpful. I was expecting in 1 year to have a lot of notifications, lol.

@mypointsju since yesterday, i have been actively participating in the discussions and now I realize it's important to manage the notifications. It's actually confusing me which notification i have replied to and which of them i have not.

You should be able to cut down on the amount of notifications received by going through setting., But other than deleting them individually, I'm also stuck there. Maybe there is some keyboard short cut to remove all at once. Wishful thinking though.

You can change the number of notifications you get by going to the notification settings (I have included the link below) and changing your options. If you wait a certain length of time (I believe it is seven days), then they will disappear automatically. Other than that, I do think that you have to delete them individually. May I ask why you want to mass delete your notifications rather than attending to them and interacting with those who have responded to you?

That's a part of being a newbie. I like my notifications. It shows that people interacted with me. See you around.

I don't think there is a way to delete more than one at a time. I delete them as soon as I respond to them.

I don't delete them. Every time you check your notifications the new ones will be under new and ones you already saw will be under sent today or previous days.
