I Thought That I Cracked It!

I have been looking for the parents of a certain young lady for a couple of years now with no luck. Tonight I thought that I would soon be looking at their names! I found the marriage certificate. At least I thought that I had. It was the index that I had found and there is a difference. :( At least I have a date to work with now. It was better than nothing granted but it is only on the marriage record that you usually find the parents listed. Better luck next time! :)

Our parents are not listed in the marriage certificate, I think that they are listed on the document that remains private.

I guess that each country has different rules and there are also a number of years involved before something will be released to the public.

@Hate2Iron No personal certificates are released to the public in Italy, never. You have to go through a very long (and expensive) procedure if you want a specific document.

Yes, but each client can take up to 20 hours each, so I'm just finishing up a course on how to do your own. Almost finished but still polishing it. :)

You can try to check the archive of national statistics office in your place. I hope you could find it.
