Lunch date with my BFF

It is the first Sunday of April so I and my sister attended the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 7:30AM. The parking lot was still spacious so I parked just near the entrance; surprisingly, when I and my sister went back (after mass and after buying some necessities for home), there were so many vehicles, that was why I waited for the end of the 8:30AM mass until the cars and tricycles blocking my way were all gone.
Originally, my BFF should fetch me at 10AM but since I was still on the road, I requested her to drop by at 11AM. She agreed, but it was already 11:30am and she was not yet in.
When I heard her car blow its horn, I immediately said good-bye to my sister and planted a kiss on my son’s cheek, then off I and my BFF left.
We had our lunch date in a restaurant (eat-all-you-can or ‘smorgasbord’) just a kilometer away from our house. We had some talks about our classmates, and reminisced our past. She will be back here in July, in time for the feast of their patron in their town.
She was so smart with her sleeveless dress while I was in my usual and regular get-up; i.e. tee shirt and denim pants. She had to use an umbrella because she is undergoing treatment for her melasma, so she mentioned about this diamond peel which I am not really aware of.
I am glad we remain the best of friends for life. See you later, sis LG.
Do you wear formal dresses when you have a date with your BFF? I don’t.

@Lucky15 'agpada ta' which means we are similar in our dialect. Although I have some semi-formal and formal dresses, I still go for the denims and tee shirts.

Hi po. That is the place you mentioned to me po. Nice. And both of you are looking so young and beautiful. I wish my bf and I have never seen her since college. Maybe when I get to go where she is. In regards to your question, I do not wear anything formal. Just casual.

@mlgen1037 in the latest picture, yes, my BFF admitted that she had a nose reconstruction. her nose in this picture is her 'original' nose. the discussion with me 'looking straight' is her reconstructed nose now.
for me, i would not even let my nose be reconstructed. i am happy with my nose.

It's so nice that you have a good lunch date with your BFF, it's also fun to eat at those eat-all-you-can restaurant, so you can have long time to eat and chat at the same time. It's really good that you have such a good friend in your life. I wonder if I have any besides my husband (He used to be my very good friend in high school).
I usually just wear normal t-shirt and a pair of jeans.

@ridingbet I don't know what diamond peel is as well. I am just not a fashionable person or I have no idea of all these beauty products as well. But, it's still always good to learn something new.

Since time immemorial, I am always the casual person. She was too before but she has her American boyfriend so she dresses formal now. This is the wonder of technology too. I am so naive of this diamond peel that I just listened to her.

@kaka135 my BFF also could not explain to me what a diamond peel procedure is, so I just shrugged my shoulders and moved to the next topic

So , the picture you posted with your bff with you and you in your short hair isn't your recent photo . But you know , that style suited you well .
I am happy for you that you had a wonderful date and catching up with your friend . Does she live far from you or abroad already ?

She now resides in the capital city, my lady. I will let my hair be shortened when I will have my duty.

@ida123 sometimes when I wear the knee-length shorts and ordinary t shirt when I go to the city pr for errands, and my students see me, they would always say, "Ma'am, ang rugged mo ah" (Ma'am, you dress ruggedly). That is better to hear than say, I am in my formal wear

although we had our lunch date, we only had that, and after the date, she had to go because she and her family are leaving for the capital city at 4PM. She will be back though

@LadyDuck Yes, and I believe we should dress appropriately when we eat in a fine-dining restaurant.

The restaurant where we had our lunch date was not so spacious and it was nice we had seats in a pillar/post of the resto. As you can see in the picture, there are people who wear t shirts.

thank you, my friend. Yes, it looks like I have not been confined, right? I do not dwell much on my illness and I want to look well always.
