I am interested in figs. I saw them from an American TV series about the Rome nobles. Here there are not figs in the markets or supermarkets. We have some dried figs instead and we use them to make the soup. I like it since it is sweet. But I personally haven't eaten the fresh figs yet. I wonder whether it is an expensive fruit.

I am not sure how much it costs, I think it's relatively expensive because it's a seasonal fruit like fresh strawberries or cherries (they have a high price as well). However there are many fir trees in Greece, my parents have some in their garden so they usually bring me fresh figs and other fruits. I think you will like the fresh fig. I love berries but fresh berries are not very easy to find over here.

Here the cherries are crazy expensive. Since my son is a food picker, and he doesn't like some fruits as kiwi fruits, durian, cherries and so on. Normally I just buy oranges, apples, watermelons, pineapples, bananas which he like to eat.

@youless They cost around 6 euros per kg over here which is a lot but they are seasonal fruits so you can only buy them fresh at the end of spring. All the other fruits are very nutritional too and they are available throughout the year! I also like making smoothies and add 2 or 3 different fruits!

@youless There are many fruits here that are a mixture of two fruits combined, grown like that. Here is an example of some various ones youless:
Hybrid fruit is the cross breeding of two breeds of the same genus or between different species. Have a look at the list of hybrid nutritional fruit facts.
