So many accidents lately that could be prevented

I was on facebook and liked our local news page. I can't believe the number of fatal car accidents just in the last few days.
This morning the main highway was closed off because a car crossed the line and hit a tractor trailer. Yesterday, a car hit a horse and carriage. Now this afternoon a car hit another car head on.
I know it is snowing so this may be an issue, but with me when I am driving and the roads are slippery I will drive rather slow. But I want to make it home in one piece. I see people passing me, and tailing me because they are in a hurry.

I always give extra time especially this time of year when the weather can be no snow to 30cm in an hour. But its just sad that this number of accidents and noone seems to get it.

Hmm I think that is the product of what society is today. Everybody seems to be in a hurry. Keep Safe!

Yes, I believe so. I can't believe everyone is in such a hurry to get home, or go to work.

@ricki_911 Yup, people are chasing time to be able to be productive or to earn more for whatever reason. But we must also take into account that money cannot replace the memories we make with our love ones.

@dazzledlady That is very true. I would rather be alive and not have that much money compared to have a good job. I know many who commute to the city for a good job, but they don't look at the what ifs, and is the money worth it.

Some people just drive bad no matter how the weather is.
