Should the frequency of Indian Premier League Cricket (IPL) be changed to one in two years?

In my personal experience, the IPL cricket is becoming an overdose of cricket, especially during April and May.
Even others feel a lack of interest. I feel that if this is held just once in two years, it will create more interest.
So, do you think that its frequency needs to be changed?

Imagine Football World Cup being held every two years- that would lessen the hype and the interest associated with it.

I personally would not like the frequency to be reduced as April-May is ideal time for such event.
I agree that to some extent its too much cricket dished out to us, but I relish IPL because I get to see lot of cricketers who no longer play international cricket. Moreover, one can always skip few matches here and there as it is not a knock out tournament for the major part.

Lot of things need to be changed in not only IPL but cricket too, but when greedy market forces take over anything it eventually becomes a matter of profit and loss.

Yes @vhpsandi its too much of cricket. This takes away the interest of even good cricket fans.

I don't think the frequency should be reduced, but the number of teams should be reduced. Because of the 8 teams, the tournament is long and sometimes boring..6 teams according to me is good. Also foreign players should be limited to 3 per team so that Indian talent emerges..
